Teseo aluminium pipework is rated up to 15 Bar for compressed air, or higher in certain applications. It is also suitable for vacuum and liquid distribution.

Quicker to install than traditional pipework systems thanks to its modular design, Teseo connects using simple Allen key clamps and double ‘O’ ring seals to ensure that the new system is ‘leak free’.

Modification later is also simple and quick, with hot tap kits available for connection even when the system is still under full working pressure.

Whatever your compressed air pipework requirements Direct Air and Pipework can design, supply and install a high performance modular aluminium pipework air system that is both cost effective and an ideal solution for your business.

Advantages of a Teseo aluminium pipework system:

Costs for air leaks

The patented clamping and sealing concept of a Teseo piping system eliminates leaks, a major problem in many compressed air systems. Teseo pipework systems therefore saves energy that is normally wasted in traditional pipework systems.

Costs of air treatment

Aluminium is not affected by rusting or corrosion, so inside Teseo piping air is always as clean as after the treatment done at the source. This guarantees a longer life to the equipment connected.

Costs for downtime and labour

A Teseo pipework system is easy to modify and extend. As a compressed air system inside the factory, adding a new branch line or point of use drop takes few minutes to be operative. These can also be added live using the hot tap tool so there is minimum disruption to production.

Costs for the low flow rate and high pressure

High precision aluminium extruded profiles of Teseo piping have a smooth inner surface. The friction of air flowing through the tubing is considerably lower than in a conventional rough steel or black steel pipe. Such a feature can be easily translated into less pressure drop and extra flow with the same electric power supply consumption.

Hollow Bar System (HBS)

Constructed from rigid aluminium extrusion, HBS is a modular pipework system for the delivery transfer of compressed air, vacuum, inert gases and oils; suitable for use in small workshops right up to large industrial facilities.

  • High performance – smooth internal bore allows higher flow rates and lower pressure drop.
  • Easy installation – push to fit so does not require welding, threading or painting.
  • Modify under pressure – live hot tapping enables new points of use without production downtime.
  • Zero leaks – dual ‘O’ ring sealing system.

Aluminium Pipework (AP)

The AP profile is typically 70% lighter than traditional galvanised steel but robust thanks to the thicker wall of the tubing.

  • Flexibility – Allows for quick installation and modifications to the system even if the job is completed.
  • Air quality – Made of natural aluminium without painting or electrochemical surface treatments; makes the product resistant to corrosion and provides contaminant-free air.
  • Low maintenance – Reduces costs for leakages, downtime and labour for modifications.

Why invest in Teseo pipework?

Teseo modular aluminium pipework helps to eliminate the hidden costs associated with traditional compressed air pipework which are constantly increasing during the systems lifetime.

20-year warranty

Teseo pipework is covered by a 20-year warranty and, at almost twice as long as the nearest competitor, it is the longest product assurance available in the manufacturing pipework business sector.

The Teseo 20-year warranty covers defects in the materials of aluminium pipes and fittings in its modular pipework systems.
